Mathew Kim

Mathew Kim is an experienced and skilled tennis coach, specializing in the Johns Creek, Suwanee, and Duluth areas. As the head coach of MM Tennis Academy, he is dedicated to developing the abilities of students of all ages and proficiency levels. With his extensive tennis background and a genuine passion for teaching, Mathew is highly regarded in the local tennis community of Atlanta.

USTA U-16 ranking of 36 in Georgia
Hosted a tennis talk and broadcasting show on Atlanta's Radio Korea for one year
Over 13 years of coaching experience in the Johns Creek, Suwanee, and Duluth communities
Founder of MMTA (MM Tennis Academy) in 2012
USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) certification obtained in 2014

Kevin Dowens

Kevin Dowens is a dedicated and passionate coach currently working with MMTA. With over 16 years of tennis experience and participation in numerous high-level tournaments, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his coaching. He obtained his USTPA license in 2022 and has since been committed to fostering student success and development.

Kevin began his full-time coaching career in Portland, Oregon, before relocating to Atlanta in May 2024 to join MMTA. His approach emphasizes student growth, helping individuals to achieve their highest potential.

By leveraging his extensive experience, dedication to continuous professional development, and a strong commitment to his students, Kevin is exceptionally well-equipped to guide students to the next level in their tennis journey.
